My (LynnRiddle's) reply:

(First post, after being a lurker for quite some time!)

It seems to me that because Voldemort wasn't aware of Harry's ability to feel his (V's) emotions in the beginning, the dreams Harry has of the corridor are like when he felt Voldemort's anger or happiness later on.

That didn't make much sense, but wait for it!

I'm sure that at the point when Harry was first having the dreams (before they started to become detailed because of V's intervention) Harry merely saw the corridor because it was on Voldemort's mind. Voldemort was probably quite obsessed with getting the prophecy, but maybe didn't really know what was behind the door, and was only worried about getting someone past it to get the prophecy. Therefore V would only be thinking about the door itself, and Harry just picked up on that.

Thanks for listening, and I love you all!
