Not that I like Wormtail, but in all fairness, he DID try to get Voldie to
choose some OTHER wizard's blood, remember? And when he took Harry's blood, he
just pricked him so Harry only lost a little blood -- he could've done him a
lot more harm, cut him deeply so he lost lots of blood, severed the tendons in
his wand arm, all that kind of thing, but he didn't. I think Wormtail was
doing what he could (and little enough it was, I grant you) to repay Harry's
kindness -- and I don't think Wormtail thinks the debt is completely repaid yet,
either. I think we'll see more of Wormtail and somewhere, that life debt will
be repaid in some much more obvious way. Can't wait for Book 6! Hurry up,
JKR!!
