is the first sign of Draco's 180 back towards being good? Normally I
think Malfoy would try and fight with Harry as he has done so many

Really? I could have sworn Draco said, very seriously, that he was
going to kill Harry. He and his cronies also tried to get Harry on
the train home, but were, as usual, unsuccessful.

I see Draco as less of a threat now than I ever have. Someone (sorry,
forgot who!) mentioned that Draco is the only one who can give Harry a
run for his money, and I must disagree. There has not been one single
time in all five books where Draco, in the end, is triumphant the way
Harry is. Harry is a better Quidditch player, better fighter, and
better at magic than Draco is. He also has better support, as Crabbe
and Goyle usually end up on the floor, unconscious and next to Draco.
The only ones who can give Harry trouble are the adults he deals with
(Snape, for one) or when he has problems with his friends.

A very angry Draco is more likely in the next book, especially if
Lucius stays in Azkaban. Will this result in a loss of fortunes for
the Malfoys? How would Draco handle that? I know that Lucius was
everything Draco aspired to be and with Lucius unable to protect Draco
and spoil him rotten at the same time, Draco may truly be out for
blood, but compared Voldemort, though, I don't think Harry needs to
worry much about Draco Malfoy.
