Me:
Harry can never be a pawn in this story. That's why Dumbledore cares
so much--Harry is "the-Boy-who-lived," "the one with the power to
vanquish the Dark Lord". Dumbledore may see a pattern, and use that
pattern (of Voldy's overconfidence as weakness) to help Harry fulfill
his purpose, which, if we believe Trelawney's prophecy, is to
overcome Voldy. Dumbledore isn't "using Harry to get to LV," he's
helping Harry, in every way he can, which I would assume includes
using Voldy's weakness against him. I'd have a "gleam" in my eye,
too, if I'd just found out about my deadly enemy's miggest mistake.
