I do not know, I think perhaps my using pawn before was too strong a 
word, but I do think that Dumbledore is using Harry in his own way. 
Even if you use someone in order to help them by using a threatening  
person's weakness against themselves are you still not using the 
person you are trying to protect by putting them against the threat?
