OOP: Harry's career choices

I've been thinking about Harry's career choices in OOP, and the options
he and the others have been considering.

Why has no-one suggested that Harry consider becoming a professional
Quidditch player?  I mean, I know Auror is a worthy and exciting
profession, but Harry adores Quidditch.  I'm sure he'd have the ability
too - I quote Oliver Wood in SS:

"I wouldn't be surprised if you turn out better than Charlie Weasley,
and he could have played for England if he hadn't gone off chasing
dragons".

Wood went on to play Quidditch with Puddlemere United - sounds like the
Quidditch equivalent of Grimsby Town FC (apologies to non-UK readers and
Grimsby fans alike!).  Harry as far as I can gather is a much better
player than Oliver was.  I'm just very surprised he's not even mentioned
the possibility of Quidditch as a career.

Personally I would love to see Book 7 end with Harry defeating LV and
then going on to become England seeker and the Quidditch equivalent of
David Beckham, complete with glamorous wife :-)

Beth, who desperately wants a happy ending NOT a dead Harry ending.
