I can't find the quote either, but Ron did indeed say something along the 
lines of, "We've got about as good a chance as winning the Quidditch Cup as 
dad does of becoming the Minister of Magic." And, well, they DID win the 
Quidditch Cup. :)

As Fudge's days are undoubtedly numbered, maybe Arthur will become the MoM. 
If nothing else, everyone knows he's strongly allied with Dumbledore, and 
everyone knows Dumbledore is the only wizard Voldemort ever feared. That 
might be the string of logic a lot of wizards and witches will follow, and, 
who can really blame them?

I know MoM!Arthur is in a lot of fanfic, but I'd like to see if/how this 
pans out in canon. I hope she does it. I think Arthur would do all right. It 
might take a couple rough starts, but as the saying goes, "It was in water 
where one learned to swim."
