In refrence to Draco being abused, I haven't seen any evidence to
support that theory. When Harry and Ron had taken the Polyjuice
potion and were talking to Draco, Draco said that his dad didn't
want him involved, but to just stay out of the way and let the Heir
of Slytherin get on with his business. (Draco felt comfortable with
his father to ask him about it). And he was bragging about his
families own Chamber of Secrets. And in GoF, when the DE were
parading those Muggles in the air, Harry saw Draco standing there
calmly, maybe even prouldy, while everyone else was frantically
running around. I think since we obviously don't like the Malfoys,
we want to imagine all sorts of horrors regarding them. I think
Draco wants to grow up to be just like his dad.
The Malfoys are capable of abusive behavior, as shown by Dobby, but
I don't think they show it toward their son.
