I have given a lot of thought... after finishing me second read
through of book...to a conversation at Black House between members of
the order and just about everyone but Ginny--(See pg 96-US version)

"What's he after apart from followers?" Harry asked swiftly...
Sirius said, "Like a weapon. Something he didn't have last
time." ..."Like what kind of weapon?" said Harry. "Something worse
than Avada Kedavra-?" At a subsequent point in the story Harry
thinks he figures out that he is the weapon, and we as readers roll
merrily along. But, what if he was wrong? After all, V. had Harry
last time he just did not have knowledge of everything.

JKR has intorduced us to the mysterious world of the MoM and isn't it
possible Lord Voldemort wanted access to something else, in addition
to the prophecy...maybe the time machines? Once he heard the entire
prophecy, would he have gone back in time? He could have changed
everything! Or, maybe the brain room? Perhaps he needs the Archway
of Death? Is this a mass destruction weapon? Will V. and his
followers force hundreds of wizards and witches through the archway
all because they do not have pure blood? What about the locked
room? Sirius' knife melted away-what would happen if Godric
Gryffindor's sword was used? What is in there? The prophecy room?
What if subsequent prophecies by true seers or even centaurs speak to
the events in Harry's life or upcoming events in Book 6 and Book 7-
would'nt V. want the other prophecies, too?

It would be very convenient if the Trelawney/Dumbledore prophecy was
all he wanted. Or, if he had full knowledge of it his position would
be strengthened. Ultimately, Dumbledore's disclosure of the entire
prophecy makes Harry "a weapon" (Sirius' choice of words. As a
result of his full knowledge Harry may now make it a self-fulfilling
prophecy. He may feel obligated to achieve the proposed results-
whatever the cost-even if it means sacrificing himself.

Just some thoughts.
