I can't give you an exact age ref for this but I can tell you where 
in the story it is. It's after Ron and Harry have taken their 
Diviniations OWL. Ron says that even if his tea leaves spell 
out 'Die, Ron, Die' he's going to throw them out without looking at 
them :)

<Atropos G.>  Thank you! Found it in a flash (pg 718, Chapter 31)(US 
version)  Yikes!  so close to the end of the book, too-perfect 
foreshadowing for Book 6-so again I ask-should we expect Ron's 
death?  (It was also foreshadowed by Mrs. Weasley's work with the 
boggart in the Black drawing room)
