Alice:

It's standard British pronounciation. No "r"-s at the end of words
usually. Think of all the things ending in "er": poorer, singer,
whatever... in England, it would all sound like poora, singa (soft "g"
remaining, of course), whateva - sometimes one even writes "nev(v)a
eva" for "never ever" if trying to be slangy... :-)
