It's that darn POV, which lets us only see what happens to
Harry and what he is interested in.

I'd think he'd ask Hermione some questions about her family
every once in a while, but alas, in the last book he was so
self-absorbed with anger that we got to see even less than
usual, imo.

I long for JKR to write the same books over again, using a
different POV, so that we can have insights in other
peoples' thoughts and feelings.
