you got it girl -
if her were happy - which frankly - I think he was!!!!
how would we know -
where does Snape show joy... he loves to slam HP in class - but 
does not SHOW it...
could he jump around and clap at Harry's pain?
Plus he wants to hate Harry and does not want to justify any of 
Harry's trouble with sympathy - so although it makes him happy - 
if only for a second- he then returns to his hatred right away-
it is hard to hate anyone you can identify with...
as harry finds out when he sees Snapes painful memories
