Well, that's a thought. She may have believed that he had finally 
come to his senses about the perfection of purebloods.  On the other 
hand, although the Black parents supported the pureblood business, 
they eventually thought Voldemort's methods went too far, according 
to what Sirius told Harry in the tapestry scene.  And, their other, 
more beloved son Regulus was killed by the DEs. I'd think that would 
leave a bad taste in their mouths about anyone who supported 
VOldemort to that extent.  And, finally, old Mum knew Sirius had been 
sentenced to life imprisonment.  Why would she even think that he'd 
ever be able to inherit anything, or be of enough sound mind after 
prolonged exposure to Dementors to even understand the concept of an 
inheritance?
