Actually, reading that reminded me of a possible more relevent 
classical reference: Orpheus.  His wife, Eurydice, dies and he goes 
down to Hades to try to bring her back.  He's unsuccessful - the old, 
don't turn around or it all fails, oops he turned around scenerio.  

And no the SAD DENIAL crew cannot.  Though at least we'd get to see 
him again ... sniffle.

Ah Jo, brilliant!  I'd forgotten that.  Can I nominate Crabbe and 
Goyle?  They don't seem to be doing too well working as humans ... 
perhaps they'd do better as horse food?
