I sure don't mind teasers but part of the problem is that she has
left us with so many teasers and yet so few answers. I don't think it
was expecting too much to learn a bit more.

One of the teasers has Dumbledore telling Harry that he was going to
tell him everything. Well, we were only given what most of us had
already guessed. I'm not disappointed in the Prophecy. I'm
disappointed in not finding out the things Dave mentioned.

Now I loved the book. I don't believe I am nearly as disappointed as
many others are. Unlike some I found the book to be funny and not as
dark as GOF. I had decided I was just going to enjoy the book on the
first read and not look for all the little hints. It is a very
enjoyable book even though I probably rank GoF, PoA, and PS ahead of
it.
BUT there were disappointments for me. GoF left me hanging on the
edge, wanting to find out (actually see) where Snape was going,
wanting to see more of Lupin, wanting to see more of Sirius, to name
a few. Yes, I know the books are about Harry but I was hoping to get
a good idea of what everyone was up to and instead we were only given
bits and pieces. Plus in an interview JKR said, " But you do find out
a lot more about Snape and quite a lot more about him actually."
Being a Snape fan I couldn't wait to find out more. About a third of
the way through the book I sensed we weren't going to find out that
much about him and I wasn't going to see the other characters I had
been waiting three years to see. It was such a dramatic change from
GoF to OoP. It was unexpected on my part. I'm hoping, but not holding
my breath, that Book 6 will actually be the book I've been waiting
for since GoF.

Oh, I don't want all the puzzle pieces either. But I sure wanted more
than what we got. So....I'll just wait around for the next book and
hope we get more answers. I mean, how long is one suppose to wait to
see Snape in his vampire form? <G>
