[The best spoiler-free line IN THE WORLD!]
Dear all,

I'm not sure if anyone's already mentioned this in my absence
(they're bound to have) but when I was last actually reading posts
every free minute, there was still an active debate about the houses
of MWPP and whether or not Snape's worst memory proved that James
couldn't be a Gryffindor.

When rereading a few days back, I came to a definite answer to the
housing-question: James was in Gryffindor. Positive. Sure. My proof
is very simple, yet I managed to completely read over it the first
time round:

It appears in the beginning of the chapter following Grawp (I forget
the name), HRH are sitting outside on the grounds, and Ron is telling
them about the match they missed the previous day. Ron ruffles up his
hair to make the match seem more 'exciting' and Harry grins because
Ron "reminded him of another Gryffindor Quidditch player who ruffled
up his hair under that very tree". If that's not proof, I don't know
what is.

*wonders if anyone's going to refute this?*

My two knuts worth,
Alon

I don't know why his action would be considered anything less than
"Gryffindor Worthy".
I am sure no one wants to hear it but I think the Gyrffindor defination of a
"Brave" action seems to be a catch-all for being nosey and overly
reactionary! (ie harry, harry, harry...)
To be brave does not require to be kind!
