I'm not sure I'm ready to believe in such a quick about face from 
Percy. I would love to see Arthur Weasley as MoM but if he gains 
this post one of his most immediate problems will be dealing with 
disgruntled former "fudgies". Having been in power, they will be 
reluctant to release it and I think that Percy will be too stiff 
necked to admit his error 'til he is a lot farther in over his head 
than he is now. 

There's a lot of rush to bring Percy back into the family fold, but 
if you go back and read again the twins and Ron's retelling of the 
family split (when Harry first arrives at OoP headquarters) you'll 
see how quickly Percy was willing to go for the remarks that would 
hurt most.

A redeemable Percy, I hope so. I just don't think it's going to be 
soon.
