Lessee . . There is just one year left for Harry to improve his 
Potions grade so he will be accepted into the NEWT-level Potions 
class program for his pre-Auror education. 

I predict that Snape will come into the 6th year as the DADA teacher, 
at his long-yearned last. That solves several problems at the same 
time:

First, well, big surprise, the post is open. 

Second, Harry is outstanding in DADA -- no way  Snape will be able to 
intimidate him.  So, Harry will maintain his level of accomplishments 
needed for NEWT. Under a different Potions Master, Harry's grades 
will improve to NEWT-level.

Third, even though Dumbloedore thinks Snape might take a little too 
enthusiastically to his subject, that might be a good thing, if Snape 
stays on the side of the good guys.
