If she wasn't in the Order her only connection would have been being 
the Potter Transfiguation teacher about 7 years before. 
   It doesn't make sense why DUMBLEDORE asked her to be there if she 
had nothing to do with the fight against Voldemorte or any known 
connection to the Potters and the Order.
