Because I loved Taryn's use of spoiler space by supplying some wonderful
William Carlos Williams Poetry, I decided also to insert a wonderful haiku by
Kobayashi Issa as spoiler space:

Look, don't kill that fly!
It is making a prayer to you
By rubbing its hands and feets.

Ok, I hoped you enjoyed that...now on with the post:
*****************************************************************

First of all, everyone keeps talking about how Harry possibly saw his mother
and father, as well as Cedric, so the thestrals should have been seen. Also,
Harry has seen much more death than those two incidents anyways....he saw the
demise of Quirrel AS WELL AS the death of the basilisk. From my book, I think
it said that the thestrals can be seen by "those who have seen death". Seems
like there is no specification whether it is human or not. But seriously,
there has to be something dealing with what kind of death that I personally
would love to know....because if there wasnt, anyone and everyone that has stepped
on an insect or seen roadkill or whatever has seen death, and i think that
amount of people would be greater than the three at hogwarts that raised there
hand...C'mon, ron has had to have squashed a spider before or something...

Also, it is talked about quite often that there may be a connection between
Lupin and Luna. IMHO, I have a gut feeling that Luna is a seer. She just may
be that weird. I kind of disagree with the werewolf theory (two dark arts
fighting-really cool people-friends of harry werewolves is a little excessive).
To support the seer argument, when Lupin's fear is exposed via the boggart,
everyone first beleives his fear was the crystal ball. I know this is a long
shot, but maybe we are supposed to connect this crystal ball with divination and
the "inner eye"...the similarity in names between Lupin and Luna is just too
much.....

<3 PoPo (I now thoroughly beleive that there is no such thing as coincidence)
