I like the "fanon!Draco and canon!Draco" distinction. Particularly those speculations on "redeemable" Draco are fascinating. But as to sarcasm, I hope no one is offended or upset by comments made in the spirit of our literary discussions. We need the extremes to define the middle-ground. The forum-elf has chastened me already, but in my (long past) history and english courses I remember many heated discussions over interpretations. As long as you're not LIKE DRACO we should all be allowed a deal of license to present our views - "HPFGU"- for myself, I am well prepared to defend my views (and have changed a few of them in light of others' comments). Forge ahead, gentle commentators!
