Well...
You can't Apparate onto or off of Hogwart's grounds, but Fred and
George might be able to apparate to the Chamber since it is, still,
technically on Hogwarts grounds.
That said, other ideas that occur to me:
Hermione could probably swing a really heavy duty version of
Wingardium Leviosa.
A good number of the DAs were also good broomstick riders. Harry
could easily have navigated a broom through the pipes. Fred and
George, Ron, Ginny, and Cho as well. Neville [and possibly Hermione -
- do we know how good she is aboard a broom?] might need some help.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if Fred and George could come up with
some ingenious method of student transport. Possibly filching from
Filch under a borrowed invisibility cloak.
It would be cool if Hermione's coins did have a recording of Harry
giving the "Open Sesame" type command in Parseltongue...perhaps
showing that the trait itself is not "eeeeeeevilllle" .
Another way would be to ask Myrtle if there's some way into the
Chamber as she does know the pipes and the lake fairly well. It would
make her feel more important, and perhaps she'd moan less.
...if it could be done, it does make a great deal of sense...but
there are an awful lot of obstacles. The Trio are three out of a
good sized student body, but that many students would eventually get
noticed. Especially with [ptui] Marietta around.
I need to stop thinking about this, now.
There are plotbunnies starting to stare hungrily at me.
