Well, the obvious answer is YES ....long pause for dramatic effect...
and NO.
Hagrid's name has been cleared but his record has not been officially
cleared.
It is generally accepted that Hagrid didn't do it, so people aren't
concerned whether or not he does magic, BUT his record has not been
clear. The Ministry of Magic has not officially reversed it's original
ruling, and expunged it from his criminal record.
Until the Ministry issues an offical ruling in HAgrid's favor,
Hagrid's status will always be in question.
Just a thought.
