Does the fact Hagrid was released from Azkaban after being proved 
not to have opened the CoS constitute a pardon?  Or just for that 
particular "transgression"?

I would like to believe DD has been teaching Hagrid magic on the 
sly, even though he's not really up to snuff on spells/charms.
