This might work...but there's a passage in the US version on page 387 that
got me thinking...
"when Winky has been very drunk. He has hidden her in the Room of Requirement
and he has found antidotes to butterbeer there, and a nice elf-sized bed to
settle her on while she sleeps it off, sir...And Dobby knows Mr. Filch has
found extra cleaning materials there when he has run short, sir, and-"
Now...the elf-bed makes some sense. I imagine they do have places to sleep.
However, where would the antidotes and extra supplies come from? Does Snape
have a batch of butterbeer antidotes at the ready? Or did Fred and George
stumble across one whilst doing their experimenting?
Just my thoughts ^^
