Ok, first of all how many times have we heard Dumbledore say that he
trusts Snape? Now, if Dumbledore is JKR speaking through the book
(which at times I do think it is) then I am taking Dumbledore's word
for it.
I think that if Dumbledore trusts Snape, then we should trust Snape.
(Even though we don't have to).I have without a doubt that there was
really water in those drinks instead of Veritaserum.
When Harry and company were held up in Umbridge's office and he said
to Snape that they had got Padfoot, and then Snape got all "Snapey"
again towards him... I KNEW that he was doing it to just put on a
show for Umbridge. Then I realized that I was probably among a few
group of people that would have recognized it for what it was. And I
found out in the end I was right because Dumbledore had said so. I
have FULL confidence that Snape is working for the Order, and not
performing double spy duties.
I think it's fine to be suspicious of a character. For me though,
whatever Dumbledore says, goes. I have not once seen a part where
Dumbledore was wrong. (Or Herimone, except when she's influenced by
her emotions then she's a little off).. but yeah...
So, all in all, I trust Snape. I may not LIKE Snape, but I trust
him.
Ari -- who recently had a dream about Professor McGonagall where I
used the wrong spell, and then woke up and corrected myself, then
realized it was all a dream (colloportus... not impedmenta..)
