My answer:
I don't believe so. In CoS, Filch catches Harry looking at his Kwik
Spell course letter. That would lead me to believe Squibs never
appear on the Hogwarts incoming student list.

> 2- To be a Squib must you have two magical parents?

My answer:
I believe it can go either way. Neville's family, for the longest
time, thought he was a Squib because he didn't exhibit any magical
tendencies early on. They're all magic.

My answer:
Doubtful. Mrs. Figg tells Harry not to put away his want, that
she'd be of no use to him if the Dementors return and never shows a
wand to him. Filch certainly doesn't have one.

My answer:
Children seem to show signs of magical ability when they're young
children, prior to receiving a letter of acceptance to Hogwarts at
the age of 11. It would stand to reason that if a child didn't have
any ability by then, he/she could be considered a Squib.

My answer:
When it wears out and can no longer perform the spells adequately,
or it breaks. Mr. Olivander tells Harry he remembers Lily buying
her *first* wand. Like anything else, it probably depends on
the "wear and tear" put on it by its owner.

My answer:
I would say yes. Although I believe it's possible that a rival
wizard could snap it during a fight.

> 7- Where did all DE's/ Sirius etc get wands in ootp?

My answer:
Good question. The DEs who were not in Azkaban had wands because
they were initially cleared. One would assume those who were
(including Sirius) had their wands snapped/destroyed. Perhaps the
DEs provided wands to those members who had been in Azkaban and
members of the Order provided one for Sirius.

My answer:
Not easily. Look what happened when Ron tried to fix his with
Spellotape--it did odd things, not the least of which were
backfiring on him (slugs) and Lockhart (memory).

Hope these help. Of course, they're subjective and you may get as
many answers as there are respondents. Good luck!
