Well, that seems to be the next obvious step, but that is certainly 
not going to be simple.

There are still going to be those in power that are going to be 
uncomfortable with a club of that nature. I don't think Dumbledore 
and Fudge completely trust each other.

So, I wonder if the club will remain underground. If so, I doubt any 
Slyths join up. 

Then again, Fudge might not have a choice, and if kids like Ernie 
MacMillan go back and tell them about the class, more and more 
parents may want such a club at school.

Even if it is an open club, then Harry is going to be -- justifiably -
- skeptical of any Slytherin wishing to join. 

Harry will have to convinced that the kid is not in league with 
Draco, who has, after all, opposed him at every turn and has now 
threatened to kill him. It would be ridiculously easy to harm Harry 
if someone in the class, under the guise of practicing, wished to. 

Put it this way, if your father is a DE, I wouldn't count on getting 
in to the club.
