I wondered about that remark from Phineas Nigellus too. Maybe it was 
foreshadowing for Snape's character? Dumbledore trusts Snape sure, 
but if it came down to Snape's neck or Harry's - I wonder what Snape 
would do? He is after all a Slytherin.
