But isn't that the point? That it *is* supposed to be like that? All we
ever hear from anyone is how much Harry is like his father, how great Harry is,
and how "we can expect great things from you [Harry] ... after all, He Who Must
Not Be Named did great things, terrible, yes, but great." (There's some
movie poisoning in there, but I like how that line sounded in the movie!).
Harry is supposed to be able to overcome his feelings - that's his character!
Snape is the guy who cannot get over school even years after it has happened.
Snape has reasons to hate Harry. They *did* Stun him during the Shrieking
Shack scene. Whatever reasons anyone thinks they had - doesn't matter. They.
Stunned. A. Teacher. Lupin was right when he told the Trio they should've
left Snape to him. There's also the "Everything that has even gone wrong at
Hogwarts is Snape's fault." Anyone remember that?
I don't think he's being immature, but whatever he's being, it's part of
complexity. IMO, every different facet of a personality makes a person complex.
Look at Sirius! He was a complex character. But he was hopelessly immature
(sure, sure say it was due to his stay in Azkaban...he was an adult when he
went in! He should've grown up before then!). Everyone defends what Sirius does
just because he was nice to Harry. Oooh... so *that's* what makes someone
worth defending, now is it? I'll remember that for next time...
