I just thought it interesting that you should read
into this statement--reason being, I use "old" quite
often w/ no background, like, fake for instance I stub
my toe on a chair and said Ouch!--when asked what
happened, I say I stubbed my toe on that stupid old
chair--I hope you get what I'm saying...maybe there is
more to Uncle Vernon sayting that, or maybe it is just
making his character "realistic"
