where Neville's mother's name is given.  Who is she, I wonder?  Why 
is her first name never given?  JKR has never slacked on names, so, 
I'm leaning toward the omission as being deliberate.>

Alice Longbottom, Auror. She doesn't get a name or a career in GoF, 
although hubby does.
