No, I disagree. As a male, who has not the slightest interest in Alan 
Rickman (although I think he is a good actor), I want to say that 
Snape was my favorite character since I read book 1 for the first 
time. It was the combination of his nasty and horrible behaviour, and 
his good deed (saving Harry) that made my interest in Snape awake. 
And it just got more interesting from book to bool. The fact alone, 
that it is still absolutely uncertain, on which side Snape is (I 
personally think he is on Dumbledore's), makes him still my favorite 
character.
