WHAT I BELIEVE <SNIP> So what is the snake that is show divided into
two? Is it the original Slytherin? Could it be Slytherin's ancestral
archetype, a meta-slytherin so to say? Could Voldemort get his powers
from 'channelling' Slytherin? Could Harry now potentially channel
too? Could the same magic that prevents Harry from being possessed by
Voldemort allow him to control the spirit of Voldemort?

<Atropos G.>Just a wierd notion that came to me-what if in addition
to the two snakes confirming that Harry and Voldemort were still
separate entities it was also foreshadowing the upcoming dvision in
Slytherin House? Recall the sorting hat's new song spoke of the need
for all houses to join together. Well-I do not think that Draco
Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle, Avery, Nott and others (youngsters at Hogwarts
in Slytherin) will forget their DE parents were sent to Azkaban by
Dumbledore and his little army.
But, I recall that somewhere in OOP, Harry is told not all wizards
are good or bad (sorry cannot recall canon-I am sure someone will
speak up). I, therefore, look for book 6 to start showing us a
Slytherin divide. Students named in passing like Zabini, Flint
(maybe), Bole, Derrick, Bulstrode(maybe) may not relish Voldemort's
return and could be convinced to join forces with the side of the
Order of the Phoenix.
Wishful thinking-yes-but I hope true-otherwise how will we ever get
all of the houses joined in the fight?
Oh yeah-a long shot the other way! What if based on the hat's song
and predictions, Draco begins to suspect that Snape is the Slytherin
that is joining with the other houses. What if Draco gets nosy,
learns too much and turns him over to Voldemort?
