I'm about half way through my second read of OoP and noted an interesting
point which may strengthen what you say. The Daily Prophet reports Bode's
murder and indicates that the hospital has blamed it on the healer
(suspended from duty and unavailable for comment).
Surely a bit precipitate to conclude that! Someone is covering something up
here, methinks.
Which could either be the hospital's own lack of security (which actually
seems fairly nonexistent) or the complicity of someone in the administration
in letting the murderer put the Devil's Snare on Bode's bedside
