Jenny,
I think I suffer from wanting Harry to be as good as I think he is. 
Seeing that horrendous memory of Snape's was at least as damaging to 
Harry as it was to Snape. It was a cruel memory. But to my mind, some 
attempt at an apology would have been the most courageous and brave 
thing to have done. If these two are to ever bury their differences, 
it will be a huge moment and I guess I can't blame JKR for putting it 
off for another day. Snape, no doubt, has treated Harry very badly. I 
just wanted Harry to rise above it and maybe that was too much to ask 
for now.
