Snape eating or not eating

Me:
If I were in Snapes clothes I wouldn't stay either. I prefer to have 
dinner with people who enjoy my company, and since he strikes me to 
be a very proud person (I hope this is how you say it in English) I 
asume he feels the same way. 

A lot of the people in the order seem to know each other so well, 
that they are almost like a big family. I doubt that Snape feels 
included. These people are - after all - not his friends. They might 
accept him as a part of the order, but they don't like him. Didn't 
one of the Weasley brothers mention that not even Molly likes him? 
Snape is probably used to the fact that decent people don't want him 
around, which is not so surprising considering his bad social skills.
