I, too, had been near willing to dismiss most of Mrs. 
Weasley's "overprotective mother" reactions up to this point in the 
book, when I read the boggart scene.  That is, until I realized that 
she had left someone out.  The boggart turns into all of her sons, 
her husband, and even Harry, but no Ginny??  I must say I'm not sure 
what to think about this.  Certainly, if I saw my own mother in this 
situation, and a boggart turned into all my siblings but me, I'd be a 
bit put off.  Not sure what the reasoning behind the omission of 
Ginny is, or if it's even an important detail, but something's fishy 
there.
