Something Missing From The Curriculum?

Y'know, it just occurred to me...

One thing Hogwart's does NOT teach is the Arts --I don't mean the
Magickal arts, I mean "The Arts," as in painting, music, drama, etc.
Isn't this something of an oversight?

Even if we ignore that in most societies and cultures where some
variant of Magickal
(or "occult"/"spiritualist"/"mystical"/"alternative"/"take-your-
pick") practice is taken seriously, music and other arts are almost
always a vital component of it (imagine a Native American shaman
without drums or dance!) -- it's obvious that someone in the Wizard
World paints portraits, at the very least. Ghosts make music, as do
the Weird Sisters (who, granted, might have learned by whanging away
in a dungeon, just like their Muggle garage-band counterparts.)

Nonetheless, there is an aesthetic component to Wizard culture that
is very important. Why isn't it taught in school?
