Does too. Take Black for instance. Part of a family where bloodline and it's preservation are of huge importance, Sirius rejects that idea. Perhaps Ms. Marvolo felt similarly, and didn't concern herself with blood "purity." So, perhaps something similar to Seamus' situation occurred. That is, she married a muggle and then told him she was a witch--but, in her case he didn't take it too well. (I hope this actually happened, and it's not movie contamination...) I wonder if Seamus' mother is a pureblood.
