remember in CoS, there's also a transfer of the real (not through a
spell) Voldemorte to Ginny..... probably the most powerful of all the
Weasleys, and I think cannon supports this theory. >>>

possessed by LV will certainly have left some of his powers in her?),
but the enphasis on "bright red hair" that JKR puts in all Weasleys
come from her much researched legends and myths, that says that from
all witches, the red haired ones are the most powerfull, because red
is the colour of powerfull magic (all powerfull curses are red jets).
So Ginny, being the only female child from two red heads, plus the
fact that she has to be clever to outwit "Greg and Forge" plus LV
added power plus DA classes plus DE battle plus being a seeker, uph,
that's a lot for a little girl, she sure "will do great things",
good, but great. >>>

I couldn't agree more, Ginny is fast becoming one of my favourite
characters. She is obviously full of natural talent, but when you
consider her major influences and role models (Bill, Fred and George
and Hermione) its not surprising that she is developing into a very
powerful witch - clever, talented, ingenious and resourceful! what a
mix!

Has anyone else noticed the number of Cat references when JKR is
describing Ginny? I haven't done a total trawl through all 5 books,
but in OOP it struck me that Ginny tends to hiss like a cat, curl up
like a cat and has eyes like a cat.

I really don't know where these references are leading - I think the
series is all animagused out with Wormtail, Sirius, McGonnagal and
Rita Skeeter, so I don't think she will be an animagus, but its
definitely clues to something.
