This is ruled out by the fact that these TTs are out of reach due to 
being caught in a time loop (The Crashing Cabinet). There is also the 
question of the delay in mounting a rescue (Days to get another TT as 
well as the question of if you can cut your trip short by turning the 
TT in the other direction to return to your time of departure) as 
well as the problem of how to effect the rescue [BTW: I got a BIG 
Laugh at the MoM door spell issuing Visitor Badges listing "Rescue 
Party" as the purpose of the Visit]. The only way of doing it SAFELY 
is to jump back to Harry's Bed Room [hopefully unoccupied] and use 
the Two-Way Mirror to warn Sirius to NOT join the rescue party when 
it gets called out later. The question is if Sirius's presence was 
needed in the battle to keep Harry from being killed (IOW: Would 
Sirius accept the fact that a "Future" Harry as alive to came back to 
warn him as proof that his presence was not needed?).
