Earlier discussion led me to go back and look at FBaWTFT again. My question is this. There are
many comments written by Harry, Ron and some by Hermione. There is one in particular that I don't understand. By the Kappa entry, the word Japanese is underlined and says "Snape hasn't read this
either." What am I missing or forgetting? Any help would be
appreciated.
Hans:
I paste here a snippet from Book 3 page 142:
"Very poorly explained... That is incorrect, the kappa is more commonly
found in Mongolia.... Professor Lupin gave this eight out of ten? I
wouldn't have given it three...." (Snape substituting for Lupin).
By the way, I often see the comment in posts: "I can't quote because I haven't got the book with me". Well my solution is to have the books in digital form. With Ctr "F" I can easily find a quote and paste it.
