<<< But as for courage itself, well she's there, isn't she? Part of
courage is being able to face
up to fear, isn't it? Okay, that doesn't sound very brave, but the
point is that she doesn't back
down even though she is afraid.
She believed that, in going to the Ministry, they might well be
walking into Voldemort's trap>>>
and was the only one of them I think fully understandood how great a
risk it was, H was blinded by HIS
love for Sirius...
Moreover, like any good soldier Hr feels a lot of fear BEFORE the
battle, but when it comes
to fighting she pushes her fears aside and she's as cool and
competent as one could expect from her,
even a bit too much, because she got wounded because of
overconfidency when congratulating Harry ...
(do you remember she's the one which takes away H from the
mesmerizing Black Veil?)
In going to MoM she had to overcome her personal fear, the fear she
felt for her loved ones
(keep SHIPS moored, please!), and she had to force herself to do
something she was sure was wrong
and was going to put in danger not only her and her friends, but
the 'Good Guys' cause too.
Being italian, I read a lot about WWII italian soldiers, outnumbered
and outgunned and not-too-well
commanded which kept fighting with heroism only because of
patriotism and loyalty to comrades:
they came into my mind while reading of Hr fears about the MoM
situation...
I absolutely appreciated her when she prevented H from hurting
the 'Baby DE': "You can't hurt a baby!"
in doing so H would have been too similar to Voldy...,
he would have lost, in my belief, some of his moral superiority on
him.
And I think she showed a lot of feminility in saying those words,
other than showing she can keep her brain running even in the heat
of a battle.
Just two knuts...and my apologies for my english
