I think the wrappers are fishy too- they're a herring- as in red.  
But I've been wrong before, and will be again.  I've no doubt about 
that.  I think they are just a mother's way of giving something to 
her son, and that's all that she has to give.  We don't even know 
that it isn't Granny Longbottom and Neville giving the gum.  I would 
think that if it weren't Granny- she would certainly question why an 
inpatient at a (well basically a pysch ward) who is pretty much 
incapacitated, is being gives gum (which someone could choke on)

That's actually a good thought, and one I haven't had.  But she 
should have recognized it.  Hmmm- And she isn't dismissed- just 
suspended with no pay.  Maybe there is a conspiracy at the hospital 
after all.  Darn it!  Now I have to rethink every thing I've decided.
