I noticed that too.  I think there must be a very strong relationship 
between Voldemort and Bellatrix.  She tells Harry proudly that she 
was taught the dark arts by Voldemort himself and that she is his 
*most* loyal servant.  Voldemorts "I'll deal with you later" comment 
also indicates a close relationship - closer than a normal DE anyway. 

I don't think this is a SHIP situation (I guess the age difference is 
insurmountable) - but perhaps something more along the lines of a  
child idolising an older powerful man who may have contact with her 
family. I still have a suspicion that families like the Blacks would 
have helped the poor but talented Tom Riddle reinvent himself as 
Voldemort.
