PHINEAS means "mouth of the serpent" in Hebrew (I believe I'll check 
that and retract if I have to--the meaning I'm SURE about, it's the 
hebrew I'm fuzzy on)
NIGELLUS of course refers to "Black"

SNAPE is a town, rather towns in Britain. Just sounds snarky, I guess.
