I guestimated this one from the scene in POA/GOF where Sirius (I 
think! No book can't check) is talking about his capture and says 
that one of the first Wizards on the scene was Fudge a Jr Minister.  
We know Fudge became MoM in 1990 (Quibbler article) and Sirius was 
captured in 1981 (a day or two after the Potters deaths) therefore -

Jr to Minister = 9 yrs

Can someone with the books confirm
