Hermione knows what Snape is. Sorry, it's that old vampire thing
again <g>. It's a secret she has been keeping. I doubt that she
knows much about Snape's past and yet she is famous for her research
abilities.

I can't believe Dumbledore or Snape would have given any information
to Hermione. It would be too risky.

I sure don't belong to the group that hates Hagrid.

Oh god, never. S/H is just sooooo wrong in every sense.

I must have missed that interview. The only one I can think of is the
following:

SF: and slowly we just get this idea
that maybe he's not so bad after all

JKR: Yeees. You shouldn't think he's too nice, let me just say that.

If this is the interview it doesn't say Snape *will* doing something
bad in the next book. It could just as well mean he *did* something
at one time. My guess and my desire would be that it was something he
did in the past that will have all Snape-haters hating Snape even
more. I don't want it to be a future *nasty*. I'm hanging on the hope
that Snape truly has changed for the better. Plus it is the past
history of Snape, James, Lily, Sirius, etc., that we need to see and
surely we will see that in the next book.
